Circles
A place for the people who matter
A circle is a group with a purpose — the relatives, the book you are all reading, the street you grew up on — with its own feed and its own way in.
Invited by someone already in it
A circle grows the way a real group does. Members invite people from their own contacts, an admin approves, and everyone sees what everybody posts to it. There is no public directory of circles and nobody stumbles into yours.
- Its own feed. What is posted to a circle stays in the circle.
- A name and a topic — everything goes, or one thing only. You decide what it is for.
- Translated like everything else. Posts, captions and comments arrive in each member’s language.

A young account stays in a guardian’s hands
Nobody under 13 can open an account at all. From 13 until 16, an account needs a parent or guardian: until the supervision is in place it can do little more than ask for it, and everything else stays closed. This is enforced on our server, not only in the app.
The young person accepts the supervision — a pending request gives the adult who sent it no powers at all, and does not even show them a date of birth.
Bring the family into one place
Wherever they live, and whatever they speak.
